The winter olympics 2018 officially know as XX111 Olympics winter games and commonly know as PyeongChang 2018 is a big sports event that is schedualded to take place in South korea from 9 to 25 feburary 2018. IOC international olympic committe is the organization that decides the venue and other things related to the olympic games that may take place after every 2 years.
This time South korea is selected as a venue place for olympic games 2018. Previously this country
host summer games 1988. Pyeonhchang will be the third asian country to host winter games the first two were japan and nagano 1998.

Pyeongchang was elected as the host city at the 123rd IOC Session in Durban, earning the necessary
majority of at least 48 votes in just one round of voting.
